Closing: 30-Day closing, sold in As-Is condition, no contingencies. Extension may be possible subject to additional deposit and Special Commissioner and court approval. Any bid or contract for successful purchaser is subject to approval of the Special Commissioner and the Southampton County, Virginia Circuit Court.
Deposit Amount: Online registration requires $7,500 hold on a valid credit card. The hold will be released post-auction. A 10% deposit is due within 48 hours of being notified that you are the successful high bidder.
Buyer Agent Compensation: Subject to Court and Commissioner approval, 2% of the high bid will be paid to a properly registered buyer's agent at settlement.
